How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the WEBTOON app, desktop or mobile website.
Note: If your account was created using a Google account, we recommend that you use the desktop or mobile web browser to delete your account.

Once you delete your account, your account profile, Coins, unlocked episodes, and subscription history will be deleted permanently and become unrecoverable.

For Android:

1. Uninstall the WEBTOON app from the Google Play Store. 
2. Click on the following Delete Account link.

For iOS:

1. Open the WEBTOON app.
2. Go to the 'More' tab and click 'Settings.'
3. Select 'Account' and then click 'Delete Account.'

For Desktop:

1. Go to the 'Account' menu after logging in. Click 'Do you want to delete your account?' on the bottom of the screen.

For Mobile Web:

1. Click on the three dots ‘...’ in the top menu.
2. Click 'Settings'.
3. Click 'Delete Account' on the screen.

Important Notes

• Coins remaining on your account will be permanently deleted upon account deletion.
• If you have any series published on CANVAS, you must delete them first to delete your account.
• If you have a WEBTOON TRANSLATE account, please first delete your account from the “My Profile” page on the WEBTOON TRANSLATE website.
• Comments are not deleted automatically when your account is deleted. To delete your comments before deleting your account, follow these instructions.
• WEBTOON administrators can’t delete an account on your behalf. 
• WEBTOON is not obligated to delete any remaining comments or CANVAS episodes after account deletion.
• If you are using Android, you may need to delete the WEBTOON app first for a successful account deletion
